Bethel Higher Secondary School was established by Late P.Moasosang & His beloved wife Queeno Moa on February 23rd, 1981 with 55 students on the roll.
The School is recognized by the Government of Nagaland and affiliated to the Nagaland Board of School Education.

Vision of BHSS :
The school motto is “Ever Growing in Truth” whereby students are encouraged to grow continually in all areas of life, mental, or spiritual. The school aims at developing a wholesome and integrated personality of the student by organising variety of programmes and providing different facilities to promote their skills and potentialities.
This will further foster an atmosphere of intellectual vigour and moral rectitude in which our youth may find their fulfilment in contemporary society and serve their fellowmen in truth, justice and love.
